All Wrapped Up, From A to Z

This was my first attempt at a blogging challenge and as I've been known to do, I jumped into something with both feet without realizing just what I was getting myself into.  I not only took the challenge with this blog, but I entered with three other blogs also.  Completing 26 posts on four blogs in one 30 day period was definitely a challenge - but I did it, I completed the challenge on all blogs I entered.

I had to.

After encouraging my peers to join in, almost 100 of them rose to the challenge.  What kind of leader would I be if I fell short?  Ok, it's a stretch, but humor me.  It's a Marine thing.

My writing that pays the bills took a back seat during the month of April, but I don't regret having taken on the challenge.  It was a great experience, and one I will definitely repeat (although probably not with four blogs).  In fact, so many of us didn't want to lose momentum that we started a challenge of our own for May where we'll be posting the alphabet in reverse order. Glutton for punishment - another Marine thing?

To those of you who completed the challenge - Bravo Zulu.  To my peers who joined me, offering support to each other every step on the way - a big pat on the back.  You inspired me to go the distance, and I'm proud of all of you, no matter where you finished.  You rock!

Special thanks of course go to Lee and the other hosts at Tossing it Out There.  I'm not sure how I even landed on your blog in the first place, but thanks for the wild ride!

I completed the 2011 A to Z Blogging Challenge with the following blogs:

Write, Wrong or Indifferent
Marie Anne’s Missives
In the Garden With Sow-n-Sow
Every Day Crochet

If you have a reflective post about your experience this month, go to the end of the list to add  your post.  You can also grab the code and display this entire list on your blog as well.

  1. Wow....and I thought that 2 was double the trouble when I read about another blogger covering the challenge with both of her blogs. Now, I come here and learn that you did it with 4. How? That is a magnificantly victorious achievement.

Congratulations on making it through and I wish you well on your blogging journey through the month of May.
